I’m tired of using slow enterprise CRM solutions
I have some experience in sales
I used some expensive CRM solutions (siebel, microsoft crm, salesforce.com…)
I agree with some ideas of cluetrain, GTD and 37 Signals Basecamp.
I saw a lot of “how-to use gmail as” anything
This will be my how-to use gmail as a CRM!
Gmail is the best user interface I can find on the net. It is quick, flexible. Gmail also supports “plus-addressing” of emails. Messages can be sent to addresses in the form: gmail.user+extratext@gmail.com where extratext can be any string, very useful for auto applying labels.
Gmail gives you thee dimensions in order to manage your customer relationships,
label, priority and time. Gmail offers you have three sharp instruments: filter, label and search.

This is so frustrating. I am trying to stop my computer from having my password and email come up every time someone tries to log onto Gmail. I went to the help, and it told me what to do. And I cannot find GOOGLE TOOLS. I thought this was it, but I guess not. Or else it would have helped me. If you can help me get to GOOGLE TOOLS that would be great. I really just need some help.
I’m building a CRM plugin for gmail. Let me know if you want to try it out. Allows dozens of people to use ONE gmail account … but have Virtual SUB-ACCOUNTS of their own …. Basically it logs people in, AUTO-TAGS stuff, suppresses automatic mark-as-read … unless you reply. And other nice things for coordinating.
